Helicopter ride prize win for ABG’s Lucy Whitley

Lucy Whitley from ABG’s Property Group won the helicopter ride donated by Central Helicopters for the Nottinghamshire Law Society charity “Buzzathon” event held at Mallory Park near Leicester in June 2009. She is seen here with Kathryn Meir, ABG’s Employment Associate on Sunday 25th October taking the flight form Tollerton airport on a clear sunny day.

The girls enjoyed observing familiar landmarks across Nottingham including the University, Nottingham Forest and Notts County football grounds, Trent Bridge and the Boots factory. Lucy said, “It was my first time in a helicopter and being 1500 feet up over Nottingham was a breathtaking experience. It gives you a very different perspective and is something everyone should experience in their lifetime!”

The “Buzzathon” event raised over £10,000 for 3 charities including the Railway Children of India, Macmillan Cancer Support and the Alzheimer’s Society.
